The story of gold
What is gold? Where's it from? Should you own some? What do you do with it? Lots of questions. Here are the answers that are probably not always meant seriously…

What does GMT mean?
GMT is an abbreviation for Greenwich Mean Time - the time zone London can be found in. And as the gold price is 'calculated/fixed/traded' in London GoldPriceOne uses GMT for the time of the current price.
If you live west of London your local time is earlier than GMT. Living east of London and your local time is later than GMT. But that doesn't really matter for the current price shown in the app. Wherever you live, whatever your local time is, the price shown is what one ounce of fine gold is worth currently on the planet.

In review: GoldPriceOneMobile 1.0.5
Our new update to GoldPriceOneMobile 1.0.5 ist currently under review. Checking the version number it looks like a small update to our iOS gold price alert app - but - it isn't. It introduces a new feature for PLUS subscription: Historical gold price charts.
As we are running our own api and price aggregation service, we'll have to start with some not too historical data. Right now GoldPriceOneMobile offers 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days charts. The chart view will get more - older - gold price data and chart views as time goes by.
And before you ask: The Mac App will be updated soon.

Planned feature: Gold Price Chart
Now that both of our gold price alert apps are available in seven languages it's time for a new feature. What could be more interesting than the current gold price or the direction the gold price took?
We think that a chart showing historical data of the last 30 days for example, is a good addition to the app's functionality. GoldPriceOneMobile - our iOS app - will receive the new charting feature first.
