GoldPriceOneMobile version 1.3 out now!

We are happy to anounce that GoldPriceOneMobile 1.3 – the iOS version of our gold price-alarms-charts-alloys-spread-calculator – is available for download on the App Store now.

It comes with loads of improvements, new functionality and a new design (in some parts of the app). It's still free to download to any device running at least iOS 18 (yes, we had to remove iOS 17 support). And, of course, all the updated PLUS features are a free update for our existing subscribers.

If you never heard about GoldPriceOne but are interested in buying, selling, trading or holding gold (current prices, price alarms, alloy's values, spread buying/selling) give it a try and download it for free!

Ready to go. Nearly.

GoldPriceOneMobile version 1.3 is approved by Apple and ready to go.  Well, almost – sort of ready. Right now the only thing missing is the approval of the new 'buy-once lifetime access to GoldPriceOne Plus' icon for the App Store.

Right now, iteration number 3 of the icon is waiting for approval. It might take some more time.

It's been a while without any changes.

This 'while' is over now. Yesterday we finished our work on GoldPriceOneMobile - our iOS gold price tracker app. We hope to release version 1.3 pretty soon. And there are loads of improvements, visible and under the hood:

We changed the appearance of the gold alloys listings, we reworked the look and functionality of the gold charts we, also we changed the function and design of the gold spread calculator – aaaaand finally – we made a decision about whether or not there should be an option for a pay once use forever in-app purchase. The answer is yes!

You might now test our apps PLUS functions for less than a US-Dollar (monthly subscription) and if you like it you can buy the app (one time purchase) or subscribe to an annual plan.

App Store prices will be 0.99 USD for the monthly subscription, 9.99 USD yearly subscription and 19.99 USD for the one-time purchase of GoldPriceOneMobile. These are the prices for the US-store - your price may be vary.

Here we go: GoldPriceOne macOS 1.2 released

This release took it's time to be approved by Apple. But finally the update to version 1.2 of our gold price app for macOS did it. GoldPriceOne 1.2 brings the new features from your iPhone to the Mac: Spread calculator, Widget and 1 Year Chart view.

While the widget is free for everyone, spread calculator (explanation found within the documentation and here) and the 1 year charts view are features available to our GoldPriceOne PLUS subscribers.

Our app to monitor the price of gold, the value of jewlery (gold alloys), gold price alerts is available on the Mac App Store for free.

Yesterday we finished working on the next update to GoldPriceOne for macOS. It's now in Apple's review queue. The update adds the new features of the iOS App (GoldPriceOneMobile) to your Macs and MacBooks.

Here comes GoldPriceOne for iOS 1.2

About an hour ago we released GoldPriceOneMobile version 1.2. The latest update of our gold price tracking app for iOS. It comes with some improvements under the hood and some visual changes.

But that's of course not all. We added a new widget that sits on your homescreen if you like, showing the most important informations – the current price and the direction of gold's price since the last update.

We also added a new chart view, the 1-Year gold price chart view which will show the chart of the gold price for one year (as you might have already guessed).

Finally, but maybe the most important new feature for all of you buying and selling physical gold and jewlery: The spread calculator. Slide the percentages to see if you're offered a good price for aunt Judy's 14 karat bracelet or if you are overpaying for the golden ring of someone else's aunt. A pretty simple way to see discount and surcharges while trading physical gold.

Both, spread calculator and 1Y-chart are GoldPriceOne PLUS features. We'll update the documentation for GoldPriceOneMobile soon.

Quietly working on the next update

We spend the last couple of days on the next update of GoldPriceOneMobile - the iOS version of our gold price monitor. Beside some technical and optical improvements there will be two new features: Spread calulator and the widget.

The widget will show the current gold price of the chosen currency on your homescreen, for example without the need to restart the app. The widget will be a FREE tier feature.

The spread calculator allows you to better estimate a price offer when selling or buying physical gold (i.e. jewlery or coins). The spread calculation will be a GoldPriceOne PLUS feature for subscribers only.

Starting with the next update – which will be version 1.2 – we'll also add the capability to use GoldPriceOneMobile on both your Mac and your iPhone/iPad. If this will work for you depends on the region of residence. If you're living in an EU member state, possibilities that it won't work are quite high – due to regulations.

GoldPriceOne Update 1.1.2 - available now

Here we go - last night we released the new update of GoldPriceOne for macOS (14.6+). It's available on the mac app store. we updated the gold price charts view mainly (and some minor fixes for small screens).

Download is available for free. To use the charts feature you need a GoldPriceOnePLUS subscription starting at USD 0.99 monthly.

Coming soon: GoldPriceOne 1.1.2

We uploaded GoldPriceOne - the macOS version - to the app store to be reviewed. GoldPriceOne has all the features the iOS version of our app already has.

Year-to-date chart, trendlines and price deviation in all chart views.

Additionally we fixed a bug nobody of us has seen before: On small displays, for example 1280 px * 720 px, the alloys overview and the store settings were to high.Neither you were not able to see the full gold alloy table nor would you be able to subscribe to GoldPriceOnePLUS.

We are awfully sorry about any inconvenience you might have experienced on your 'micro machines' (just kidding).

Gold did it again. New all time high!

This is an amazing begining for all the gold holders and the people who still think about selling their gold. It looks like the price of gold has no upper limit this January. A new gold all time high only seven days after the last one.

And – by the way – we updated the documentation. There are now two separate manuals for our macOS app GoldPriceOne and our iOS app GoldPriceOneMobile. If you run into problems the documentation might help you.

If you are waiting for the (unannounced) 1.1.2 update of GoldPricOne: We're expecting it to be released next Week.
