What is the difference between GoldPriceOne and GoldPRiceOneMobile
The only difference between the two apps is on what kind of machine (device) they are running. While GoldPriceOne is made for macOS only, GoldPriceOneMobile is made for iOS and iPadOS (in compability mode). Depending on the place you reside the iOS version (1.2+) can be used on macOS, too.
Why do I need a subscription?
Actually, you don't need a subscription to GoldPriceOne PLUS to use the app. Basic functionality of the apps is free. However, subscribing to either the monthly or yearly subscription gives you additional features (i.e. gold price charts, spread calculator, unlimited alerts, additional alert types).
What are the benefits of being a subscriber?
Well, there are some benefits coming with the GoldPriceOne subscription. Take a look at the table below for comparsion.

Can I install GoldPriceOne on any iPhone
Yes, you can install GoldPriceOne for iOS on any iPhone as long as it is supported by iOS 17.6 or newer.
Is it possible to GoldPriceOne on an iPad
Sure, you are able to install GoldPriceOne for iOS on your iPad, but it has to be supported by iOS 17.6 at least.
Is an iPadOS version existing?
No, unfortunately there is no dedicated iPadOS version of GoldPriceOneMobile available. We're focused on the macOS and iOS branches of our app.
Can I use the iOS version on my Mac?
This one is a little bit tricky to answer. If you live outside the EU the answer is YES you can. If you live in a EU-Country (i.e. Germany, France, Spain, Italy and all the other EU Member states) the answer is NO because of shenanigans (nobody knows exactly why!).
Why is the app called GoldPriceOneMobile?
It's called GoldPriceOneMobile accidently, to be honest. But we thought it was a good name to make clear it's working 'on the go'.

What gold price is shown?
The price displayed in the app or the widget is the official London Spot Market Price or fine gold. If you are using the free tier the price usually get's fetched automatically every 30 minutes. As a subscriber to GoldPriceOne PLUS you can decrease the update interval to more often refresh the price.
What exactly does the calculator calculate?
Using the built-in gold alloys calculator you can calculate the value of the most common gold alloys used for jewlery and coins. The calculator offer 5 different currencies and to different weight units for your calculation. If you are a PLUS subscriber the calculator allows you to calculate a spread (discount/surcharge), enabling you to decided if it's a good, okayish or bad price when you buy or sell physical gold. This feature is available in GoldPriceOne version 1.2+.
Can I buy or sell gold via the apps
No. You can't buy or sell gold using GoldPriceOne. Both, GoldPriceOne and GoldPriceOneMobile are used to track (monitor) the price of gold, get some insights with historical charts, calculate the value of various gold alloys and being notificated when the gold price exceeds your set limits.
Will the apps tell me when it's a good time to buy/sell gold?
No, of course not. Our apps don't give any financial advice. The apps are developed to give you informations about the price and value of your gold. You can set alerts to stay up-to-date about the gold price and how it's moving. But the decision to buy/sell/hold is always on you.
What types of alerts do exist?
The free versions of GoldPriceOne and GoldPriceOneMobile offer above and below limit alerts while the PLUS version offers additional moving and tunnel alerts.
What are the limits of the free Version
The free version allows you to set 5 alerts while the PLUS version has unlimited alerts. The minimum update interval is 5 minutes for PLUS subscribers and 30 minutes in the free version. Only the PLUS subscription offers the spread calculation feature.

What types of alerts are offered?
The apps offer 4 types of alerts. There is an above alert (take profit alert), a below alert (stop loss alert), a moving alert (automatically renewing above/below alerts) and a tunnel alert (price corridor alert) to monitor the movement of the gold price.
What is a moving alert?
As stated above the moving alerts are self-renewing alerts for above/below alerts. Whenever the gold price breaks the limit you set you'll be notified and the alert will be renewed with the new price and the chosen percentage of movement.
What is a tunnel alert?
A tunnel alert allows you to monitor if the gold price drops below or rises above a limit. You can set the corridor from 0.1 % to 5 % above and below the current price. This allows you to see the direction the price may take.
